The Pentel R.S.V.P. Stick Ballpoint Pen, 1.0 mm, Medium Point, Translucent Barrel Black Ink, (BK91-A), which comes here in a
12-count package, writes quite well and smoothly, and is refillable,
(from the bottom end, opposite the point), and looks quite nice.
It has a "gripper" band near the point, making it easier to hold.
Unlike many pens with "gripper" inserts, it does NOT bulge out at
the "gripper" area, which often creates an odd-looking pen, and
spoils the "line" of the pen's design. No -- here all is gracefully
the same width, and teh writing is effoetless and pleasant.
One test of a good ballpoint pen is to write with it on tissue paper. If the pen tears the tissue, you know you've got an inferiour-writing pen. I am happy to report that the Pentel R.S.V.P. pen easily passes the "tissue-test". And with moderate pressure on the pen, as well!
For an inexpenisve pen, complete with protective clip and "window" which shows how much ink is left, this is a handsome, easily-written with pen. Most highly recommended!
