I bought these pens about a month ago in bulk. I love these because they do not smear, bleed, and the gel flows evenly. I love using the purple pens to grade tests because red is so negative and student's find the purple less intimidating and less overwhelming. I have used these as well as the needle tip, either one works very well. Even though the tip is 0.7 mm, when you write the ink doesn't appear that thick, so it is still a good product for those of you who are like me and normally like to use 0.5 mm pens/pencils.
